About
Blue Ocean Curiosity grew out of two ideas that have shaped my leadership journey. The first comes from the concept of a "blue ocean" -- creating new value and possibility rather than competing in crowded, reactive spaces. The second is curiosity; the disciplined practice of asking better questions, seeking understanding, and remaining open to perspectives that reveal new paths forward.
It also reflects a personal connection. Time spent sailing open water and exploring the mountains has taught me that clarity, resilience, and sound judgment emerge when we slow down, observe our environment, and stay curious about what the conditions are teaching us.
The name captures how meaningful change happens - when leaders step back from urgency, explore with intention, and create room for insight, innovation, and courageous action.
